Information Operations Planner
Prepare short/long-term communications strategies and campaigns for $18 million information operations management service (IOMS) contract team to influence key groups among population of 26 million in Iraq. Research markets, target audiences, media outlets, and reporting trends to draft approach plans, including dissemination, message, and placement. Integrate plans into comprehensive strategies and measure communication effectiveness. Develop creative concepts for television, radio, and print distribution.
· Developed and placed 12 television spots, 8 radio spots, 8 billboards, and 16 posters with total placement of over 100,000.
· Worked directly with the 1st IO Command’s Field Support Teams on all projects, and offered guidance on other IO matters not related to IOMS contract.
· Oversaw product and message synchronization with key IO units.
· Conducted relevant research and intelligence analysis in support of communication strategies.
· Created resources for local national advisor feedback and reporting.
· Gained high level knowledge of the Counter IED effort through our sister contract, C-IED Information Operation Management Service.
· Prepared and Briefed the Multi-National Corps Iraq - Effects General Horn weekly on campaign strategy and effectiveness.
· Fostered key relationships in support of business development.
